"Excellent surgical and nursing team at Lehigh Valley Hospital. You are in one room in Cardiac ICU for the entire stay. Hospital utilizes a collaborative rounds process where you are visited by the attending physician, nurse, PT, OT, Pharmacist, Nutritionist, and a Chaplain each morning where they review your case as a team, and allow you to ask questions. Dr. Mehta visited at least once a day and often more if he was just passing through. He worked well with my Cardiologist throughout the entire pre & post-operative process. Other good points: There is a family room at the hospital with a bed and shower where a family member can stay for free; Good menu choices with many heart-healthy options. You just call in your order from your room; all rooms are one bed."
