"I was referred by my Kaiser cardiologist to this doctor at Scripps in La Jolla. He is no nonsense but very pleasant to work with. I was high risk due to a recent stroke 3 months earlier. I spent 4 days in ICU, 2 days in step down. I have had NO problems and am doing great! I did do the the 36 cardiac rehab classes that he recommended. I highly recommend him for valve replacement. I had bovine valve."
