"I entered surgery to have my mitral valve repaired robotically using the 2 million dollar daVinci system. The surgeon looked into the viewing portion of the robot and "no image was visible". A quick change of plans and my family gave permission for the traditional surgery. Everything went well and I could not have asked for better care. I only saw the surgeon for about 5 minutes the next day. I did see his PA several times during my 5 1/2 day stay. I have been very happy with the result."
