"During my initial visit with Doctor Hutcheson, she explained that she needed more information on why my cardiac output decreased from 70% output in 2019 to 45% output in 2023 before she could do the "clip" surgery for my A-Fib. She ordered several different tests to try and determine the cause and the last one (heart Cath) showed I had three coronary occlusions that had not shown up on all of the other chemical stress tests or CT scans or any other tests my cardiologist had done over the last 15 to 18 years.

On my second visit to Doctor Hutcheson, office is explained what course of action she wanted to do to fix the poor cardiac output of my heart. Which included; three bypasses, replacing my pacemaker and wiring, then doing the "clip" procedure for my A-Fib. During surgery she found that my Mitral valve needed to be replaced, she discussed the problem with my family and they agreed so now I have a new Mitral valve because of her due diligence to her work as a surgeon.

Since surgery, I am feeling better than I have in the last several years and am just starting my cardiac rehab thanks to her great skills.

I want to thank her for all of her and her "Teams" wonderful help before and since surgery getting me back to great health and would and will recommend her to anyone I know that needs to have their heart fixed."

"My father was taken into the hospital on the day after Thanksgiving with chest pain. Long journey short - dad required a cabbage 4 - quadruple bypass surgery. Dr. Hutcheson and the staff at Baylor Heart Hospital could not have done a better job. Their communication and bed-side manner was tremendous. Dad left and went to Baylor Rehab which also did a great job. What was expected to be 2+ weeks of rehab ended up being 1 week and we had dad home on Christmas Eve - where he could be home with the family on Christmas day.

"Dr. Hutcheson was totally professional but very personable and easy to tease with. She visited me every day for 12 days, even though I knew she had been at the hospital some days for 12 hours. You could tell all the nurses really respected her. She apologized when complications developed and I couldn't go home as soon as she had anticipated. I learned she has a signature way of tying sutures! The mitral valve repair was not successful even though she and Dr. Michael Mack did everything correctly, so I had to go back for mitral valve replacement. I told her the second time to just put in a zipper in case I had to come the third time. When my friends learned that I was having the second surgery and was going back to the same two surgeons, they thought I was crazy, but I told them I had literally put my life in their hands the first time and would gladly do it the second time. I do not anticipate a third time, but if it happens I will not consider anything other than Dr. Hutcheson and Dr. Mack and Baylor Heart Hospital Plano. Except for the surgeries, it was a vacation in a five-star resort with personal attention you cannot imagine."
