Hello! My name is Dr. John M. Brown, III and I am a cardiac surgeon having graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 1986. Dr. John M. Brown, III, heart surgeon, graduated from Cornell University Medical College in 1986.
After medical school, Dr. Brown completed his residency at New York Hospital in 1993.
Dr. Brown currently serves as chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Morristown Medical Center and co-director of the Structural Heart Group. Dr. Brown is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Cardiology. His extensive professional associations include membership in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and both the New Jersey and New York Societies of Thoracic Surgery. He is the recipient of numerous awards and has been chosen consecutively for more than two decades as one of New Jersey's Top Doctors by New Jersey Monthly magazine. Dr. Brown is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
Dr. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
