"Dr. Wood doesn't sugar coat issues, he deals with you in an open and confident manner. He instills confidence. An extremely capable surgeon, Dr. Wood is rated 9/10 by this patient. Why not a 10/10? I wish he would have told me 1) of what possible complications might be encountered after the operation and 2) met and talked to me a few days after the surgery on what he did, what he discovered, and why he chose the valve I ended up with. His secretary Gail is easily one of the kindest humans I've ever met. Ask for his German Anesthesiologist to be the guy who looks after you. Kind, compassionate, I've forgotten his name, but he went the extra mile big time to ensure my fears were kept under control before and on the morning of my surgery.
