The Advanced Heart Surgery Program offers state-of-the-art advanced cardiac surgical services for a wide array of heart conditions including complex cardiac surgery procedures including minimally invasive cardiac surgery, ECMO and LVAD therapy allowing patient to get all facets of complex cardiac surgical care close to home in Northeast Arkansas. St. Bernards performed the region first minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve surgeries, first ECMO initiation, and first Heartmate 3 durable LVAD implant, bringing cutting edge cardiac surgical therapies to the community.

St. Bernards’ Structural Heart Program underscores the team’s dedication to multidisciplinary Heart Team based care by bring advanced cardiac subspecialty care under one umbrella including interventional cardiology, imaging cardiology, EP cardiology, and cardiac surgery. The Structural Heart Team has brought much needed innovative treatments for complex cardiovascular conditions to the community including TAVR, TMVR, and Mitral trans-catheter edge-to-edge (TEER). St. Bernards performed the region's first TAVR and Mitral TEER procedures making it the most comprehensive center for heart care in the region.
